Position: Permanent, full-time

Description: Performs risk-based inspections and takes appropriate enforcement actions to achieve compliance in assigned facilities. Work schedule flexibility required; The standard work week is 5 consecutive days with some on-call responsibilities. The work schedule for the current vacancies is either Tuesday to Saturday, Wednesday to Sunday, or Thursday to Monday.

Salary: $22.54 - $30.66

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 45 quarter (30 semester) credits in a related science. (Official transcript must be submitted with your application.) 2 years full-time experience as a Code Compliance Officer I. Must currently hold Sanitarian Registration. (Copy of registration must be submitted with application.)

Description: Work with a team assisting the community & business managers in developing policies, systems, & training to address public health & safety risks in their food, drinking water, lodging, & recreational environments.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science or Arts degree with at least 30 semester or 45 quarter credit hours in the physical, biological or sanitary sciences or other closely related field. Must be registered as an Environmental Health Sanitarian/Specialist within 2 years of employment and maintain registration thereafter, according to Minnesota law.
