MEHA Volunteering at the Minnesota State Fair ECO Experience


Who: MEHA Members


What: Volunteer at the Eco Experience Water Bar.

Volunteers will be serving water from 3 different communities from around the state (one is always Saint Paul water). We would be the “bartenders,” were we would be educating on where the water comes from, how to keep water safe and any additional questions the public may have about drinking water.


Where: Minnesota State Fair Grounds: 1265 Snelling Ave N, Saint Paul, MN 55108


When: August 22, 2019 to September 2, 2019.

Shifts include:

9:00 am to 1:00 p.m.

1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Why: Get free State Fair ticket for the day you volunteer, plus a free Eco Experience T-shirt, and educate the Public on MEHA and the Environmental Public Health.

2 or 3 volunteers are needed per shift, so talk to with a MEHA members or 2 to get on the same sift. Volunteer for one or as many shifts as you are willing.

  • On-site training if interested: Water bar and Public Studio will have 2 volunteer orientations at their store front (2518 Central Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418) on August 10th at 5PM and on August 15th at 9AM. These hour-long trainings will introduce Water Bar and will provide a space for volunteers to ask questions and practice.
